A DOG OF HIS OWN

I thoroughly enjoyed this amusing story of the small boy who couldn't be satisfied with one, or two, or even three dogs, but had to have ten, and of the foolish aunt who gave him everything he wanted. It proved to be a bit more than he could manage, and he found it out just as his parents came home. Of course, there is a moral tucked in, but it went he too obvious to small readers. Jane Miller's pictures are perfectly keyed to the text.
