KIRKUS REVIEW

Quote without comment (with space for rejoinders): ""I'm going to have a baby...My Mommy told me--and my Daddy said it was true...It may be a baby brother--or it my be a baby sister...I don't care what it is...I haven't one single brother and I haven't one single sister...I have to wait to find out...Wait and wait and wait and wait and wait...My Mommy and my Daddy don't know either--they have to wait too..."" (We never do find out what it is; we do find out that the stork doesn't bring it, it doesn't hide behind a rosebush or under a cabbage, it doesn't even come from special angels--Grandma, how could you!!! --it comes from inside Mommy, and Mommy and Daddy put it there: a good point.) Somebody meant well with this but, oh my...and the pictures are worse.
