KIRKUS REVIEW

Light, amusing and well told is this story of a girl brought up to support herself and her father through breach of promise suits. Her fourth victim she marries -- he discovers her past and is unrelenting. She finds a way in which to wreak vengence, but her success turns to ashes wince he seems no longer to care. There is, eventually, a funny ending. Excellent light entertainment. Good rental library. Previous books. Farm at Paranao and Whispering Tongues.
