ROUND ROBIN

This is the best family story with the new baby problem that I have seen -- and there have been several. For Lavinia Davis writes straight out of personal experience, and as always, her children are alive. The four older children, ranging from two to eight, each have problems of adjustment to make; but by the end of the tale, Robin belongs to them all, and each one has taken some bit of responsibility, yes, even the two year old learns to share. In the process, the ways in which such problems as jealousy and understanding the whys and wherefores of keeping a baby spotless and following a routine, come naturally into the story of the first year.
