KIRKUS REVIEW

An ample collection of Sarett's poetry spanning the last thirty years. Poetry which deals largely with the North woods he loves, (Wisconsin, etc.), and which reveals his great appreciation of the beauty of nature, a pantheistic feeling for all forms of natural life, an intimate knowledge of Indian lore and wilderness ways. Much that is lyrical, a little that may seem old-fashioned to the modern reader.
