YOU'RE NEVER TOO YOUNG

A tiny batch of sugary champagne bubbles--as Welk, at 78, dispenses advice, throws kisses to assorted friends, and tells fans what he's been up to lately. His most recent project: making a multi-media movie of his life to be shown at the Welk resort museum (""the first thing you see is the giant crystal champagne glass shown on our TV show every week""). His advice to oldsters? Keep working (""at least to some degree""). ""Exercise more. . . eat less!"" Try dancing. And help young people. (Welk tells of some young entertainers he's helped.)
