SAMSON CATCHES A MYSTERY

Samson Tooley's methods for tracking down a thief may have been lifted wholesale from his newest comic book, but in the end they prove infallible. With Big-Head, Clorinda and Sidney, all members of Soap-I (Secret Organized American Private Eyes), Samson first clears his own name in the Perkins' Garage robbery and then Sidney's. Captured by the police for throwing a rock through the station-house window, the gang proves they are innocent of vandalism by indicating the message attached to the rock which points to the real town thief, Mr. Perkins' own mechanic. This is not exciting enough to capture the who-done-it devotee and not humorous enough for the comedy fan.
