Moralists will look in vain for any justification for this tale of the little colored children who spent their mother's grocery money on weenies and ice cream cones and barbenus sandwiches. They didn't even have tummy aches. And they found a way- by accident of earning it all back again. Enchanting pictures and the story is good entertainment and delightfully told -- if all you want is entertainment.
