Delectable recipes and tempting and original menus, arranged the season round, and divided into lunches, dinners, Sunday night suppers, de luxe breakfasts, and so on. The introductory chapters on American produced substitutes for things that are either or likely to be, and the lists of kitchen equipment, are original features. But it is certainly not a basic book for general day by day housewifery; rather a book for entertaining on a small scale at home. As such -- to be highly recommended.
