SIRIS DIED IN AUTUMN

According to the legend, Osiris died in autumn ""and his woman sought his shattered body in the barren places"" and it is well known to Natalie Keith, an archaeologist, and pertinently painful when Will Gregg, another archaeologist and her lover, is killed. And for Natalie the barren places are the world in general with which she has had little contact until Will's death which leaves her with an obligation to see it solved. Tangential as the investigation proves to be, it turns interesting corners and deals in strange spheres, ending with a spiritualist. A literate newcomer here.
