DEAD CENTER

Center star basketball player David Owen Jones inexplicably drops dead in the middle of a big game. Jones was also a star ""fink"" on and off the court and before Lieutenant Jenkins can call the play, the ball has been passed from an unfriendly rival player, to a gambling ring, to the extortion set-up Jones himself operated. Seems he was the Center of attention of a colony of older women, including faculty wives. Good enough diversion for a fast time out.
