KIRKUS REVIEW

Routine story with good factual content in the life story of a big horn ram, and of the hunt for him which took a man's sanity and caused his death. Of its kind, this is a good piece of work, but the story seems over-familiar. Possibly, however, it is simply a familiar pattern -- and there is little available regarding the life of the big horns.
