The opening chapters cover the general initial steps, tackle, bait (kinds and method of use). Then come individual chapters on different types of fishing (for trout, for bass, for pickerel, for bullheads, and so on). Good groundwork book, which should be supplemented by an experienced fisherman who can demonstrate the handling of rod and line.
