KIRKUS REVIEW

There should be an S.P.C.I.A. Think of Wilson, a Canadian freelancer, hired by them as a cover in an attempt to unseat Castro--beaten up, picked up by an underground group, held captive, shot at, and finally disposed of down an elevator shaft.... This one, a first by a diplomat who has lived in Cuba, is no better, no worse and certainly no different than most.
