KIRKUS REVIEW

A rather tragic little tale of an Australian bush-boy whose parents have died from starvation. Nostalgic for his own people, Bundi is miserable in the white herder's station and is twice compelled to ""go bush"". Only when he finds a baby kangaroo is he willing to return to a civilized life. Fortunately, a happy ending. Nicely written but a tear jerker.
