A companion to A Pocketful of Proverbs, this is the illustrator's selection of short, easily memorized verses from both the Old and the New Testaments. There is one verse to a page with the facing pages showing an illustration of Mrs. Angtund's characteristic child figures. Every other page is in full color. A $1.95 price seems like a bit much for such a little bit, but the season of stocking stuffers is upon us, this is aimed directly at the seasonal trade, and the illustrator is a special taste with a totally acceptant audience of impressive proportions.
