THE NINE DARK HOURS

Whee -- and whee again, for a variation on the lady-alone theme, California version. Returning unexpectedly from a sour week-end, Cameron finds her apartment taken over by a stranger, Barney, who has removed all furnishings and clothing and trace of her occupancy. She bluffs, and he spins her a tale of murder, kidnapping, sabotage, which at first she believes. She helps him, is attracted to him, then - eavesdropping on him, reverses her opinion, and works against him. She saves the baby- and, in turn, is saved by Barney .. but is unable to salvage her pride, until Barney comes for her. Pleasant tingles for good suspense-action number.
