ONE LIFE TO LOSE

A fictionalized biography of one of our most inspiring young heroes, Nathan Hale. When his brother Joseph came back from fighting with the British in the West Indies and swore that he would no longer go to war for the King, young Nathan yearned to be a soldier too, and he joined the Sons of Liberty. This story gives a good picture of the Revolutionary fighting around New York and ends with his tragic execution as a spy.
