EPERNON OF OLD FRANCE

Romanticized biography, set in the late 16th and early 17th century, during the reign of Henry IV, and, later, Louis XIII. For old Epernon lived to be a thorn in the flesh of government, until he was eighty-five. Political intrigue, the troubled background of court life, form the meat of this book. The market is somewhat limited, I should think, to those customers who are definitely interested in the man and his period.
