THE CAMERA EYE by Leo Nejelski

THE CAMERA EYE

By

Publisher: Knight

This is not a ""how to use a camera"" book, but rather ""how to see a picture"" book, and for that reason something new in the field. The aim of the author is to inspire the photographer with the making of pictures rather than the taking of photographs, the methods of approach, details of acquiring facility in producing good results. Not for the rank amateur, but still non-technical in style. There is a general discussion of accessories, films, perspectives, substance, where to find pictures, learning to see pictures, general build-up of interest in taking something other than snapshots. The fine photographs, all taken by the author, used as illustrations, are annotated to indicate the whys and wherefores.
