KIRKUS REVIEW

Written by a Roman Catholic priest, this is a book for priests and those in braining for the priesthood. Transcribed out of experience, the author not only tells why be became a priest, but describes the life and work of a priest and the opportunities and dangers which his vocation entails. Officiating at the Mass, preaching and pastoral work, the problems incident to keeping the vows of chastity and poverty are dealt with realistically and helpfully. It is a book which should be put in the hands of every Catholic seminary student and young priest. Imprimatur
