CANINES AND COYOTER

A very specialized field of strictly American sport -- and its first appearance in book form, -- coursing coyotes with racing breed dogs. The author is a cowboy whose sythenticity is vouched for by preface and foreword (R. L. Sutton and Patrick Chalmers respectively). Here is a picture of habits, traits, behavior and appearance of the coyote; descriptions of the ""runnin' dogs"", what kinds are best, their training, feeding, etc. Stories of the chase, actual incidents of the hunter and hunted. Excellent in its field and pleasantly written.
