DATELINE EUROPE

Fun reading, this story of a topnotch foreign correspondent chasing the story of an assassination in the Balkans, breaking the back of a planned coup d'etat with his cabled news story, and having a bit of trouble with his love life when he realizes how he has fallen for the girl who has given him the tip, and whom he had hired as companion during the developments. Presumably Leonard Ross is that same Leonard Q. Ross of Hyman Kaplan fame -- and both names are disguises for a magazine writer of some fame in yet another field. We like -- whoever he may be.
