KIRKUS REVIEW

A level-headed constructive book in the parent-children field. Dr. Hohman takes a stand midway between the reactionary and the progressive; he discusses types of discipline, causes and cures of bad habits, specific maladjustments, handling of sexual problems, etc. Based on concrete experiences, with an approach that seems ideal, neither rigid nor over sentimental. Dr. Hohman is a teacher and a psychiatrist at John Hopkins.
