TRUST THE SAINT

Six short stories in each of which the Saint performs his miracle of intervention, a sort of exalted Robin Hood role to right the wrong. The victim always deserves his punishment; the one who benefits is often a humble soul, who had turned to the Saint in desperation; the motives are sound, the performance flawless, the methods used assuredly not quite within the law but one accepts the end justifying the means. Smooth entertainment.
