THE MANNER OF THE RESURRECTION by Leslie D. Weatherhead

THE MANNER OF THE RESURRECTION

By

Publisher: Abingdon Press

Those who are unfamiliar with the research that has been going on in the physical field in recent years will find themselves on strange ground as they read Dr. Leslie Weather- head's own conception of what happened to the physical body of Jesus at the Resurrection. It is based on speculation, the author admits, and it does not seek to make faith unnecessary. Instead, he strives to show that it can be a projection of reason, and that belief in the Resurrection is not out of harmony with the trend of modern physics and psychic research. Indeed, he feels that the Gospel accounts of the Resurrection, especially in St. John, cannot be truly understood without the clues that modern psychic investigation has made available. This little essay may be disturbing to some; others may well find that it opens new areas of thought that may throw new light on this important theme. Dr. Weatherhead has written extensively in the field of psychology and religion, and what he writes demands wide attention and respect.
