THE TOWN CRIES MURDER

Miss Lucy replaces Grace Latham in this story of murder in old Williamsburg. Skimpy on the mystery side, but there's an aura of magnolias and antiques and general trimmings in which Leslie Ford shines. It's all about a girl loved by two young ones and about to be married off by her aunt to a wealthy old one who will save the family homestead. Then he is killed -- and everyone has motives. Miss Lucy to the rescue.
