KIRKUS REVIEW

A likeable tale, perhaps not very deep on the mystery side, but very engaging. Mrs. Latham this time bungles things deliberately to shield her favorite niece who is taking the cure in Reno from a husband she loves and who is implicated in the murder of the bounder she was supposed to marry. Col. Primrose solves the case despite Mrs. Latham, and Sergeant Buck does his bit. The murder involves divorce legalities, and the setting is unusual and very neatly done. Up to scratch, for those who like the Latham-Primrose-Buck trio.
