KIRKUS REVIEW

This Crime Club Selection bears their Something Special label and it is different -- but only if you've never read Bram Stoker's Dracula. Detective Harry Picard of the Washington, D. C. police is assigned to a series of murders in which the corpses turn up drained of blood. Hmm. Could it be? Oh, it couldn't be? Ahh -- but it is. An energetic vamp on the vampire theme with a neatly patterned romance tucked in. Hot blood all around, you might say.
