KIRKUS REVIEW

The story, with its lesson in the dangers of dishonesty, seems a bit older than the illustrations, by Fritz Kredel, in line and color block. Story in text and pictures of a champion four year old horse and a three year old newcomer, who changed places when the time came for the race, taking advantage of their similarity. They caused plenty of trouble for themselves and others, before it was straightened out.
