KIRKUS REVIEW

More adventures of the popular hero (see Jeff White, Young Lumberjack; Jeff White, Young T etc.) have the familiar surroundings of game-warden Will Hibbs' preserve and camp near the Quebec border. This time Jeff is at work with the local air forest patrols. But there is more than fire to worry about, for in disguise as an archeologist comes Jorgenson in quest of a cache of gold and does not stop short of vicious murder before Jeff and his friend Skip help track him down in a smoke-out climax- and an obscure inheritance is revealed in the flames. Rousing.
