This should prove a useful collection of material for club groups, school assemblies, etc., for here in versa, essays, stories and plays, the editors have brought together material drawn almost wholly from American writers, diplomats, political figures, etc. Short quotes and long -- play material and tableaux material (original, I think); particularly emphasizing Jefferson Day and Freedom and Democracy and Tolerance. Good source material for after-dinner speakers, too.
