THE PSYCHOLOGY OF EATING

Excellent book on diet and foods, with no bias in favor of special fads, and with a clear, honest approach to existing fads. Discuses special diets for reducing and for putting on weight, gives food charts with weight values, recipes for special foods on menus supplied, advice so to medical aspects, exercise, etc. Goes into history of eating, national prejudices, and so on. With all the people who are concerned with the subject of diet -- lay and professional -- this book should prove a good steady seller, rather than a book for quick turnover.
