For some reason Hank Jenkins' mother wasn't happy to see Puffy, the pet he brought home from camp. Perhaps she just didn't like hog-nosed snakes. But Bank's fourth grade teacher was more scientific. She obtained permission from the principal to keep Puffy in Grade Four as a science exhibit. Near panic resulted when Puffy escaped from his cage.
