Lillian O'Donnell's Detective Norah Mulcahaney, much like Dorothy Uhnak's Christie Opara, is self-sufficient and sympathetic in her regulation uniform but particularly indignant when Earl Dana gets off after his identification by the gift whom he has raped and ruined.
