KIRKUS REVIEW

Second in Carter's neo-'30's series on Prince Zarkon--The Omega Man, Lord of the Unknown, Man of Mysteries, and The Nemesis of Evil (p. 535)--and his dauntless team of crime-fighters, here mixed up with a sinister force called the Grim Reaper who goes around bumping off millionaires by medically unfathomable means. With loving and unerring accuracy, Carter recreates every lurid nuance of the pulp sf ghastlies now enjoying such a lucrative vogue. Yes, it's well done, but is it worth doing?
