REALMS OF WIZARDRY

A companion to Carter's 1975 anthology Kingdoms of Sorcery--or Through Elfland with Sword and Spellbook. Mining the considerable depths of out-of-print or never-before-anthologized fantasy writing, Carter comes up with sixteen offerings including a wicked little bauble by Lord Dunsany, an early Jurgen story by James Branch Cabell, a generous excerpt from Haggard's She, and some welcome ransackings of the 1930s Weird Tales files (C. L. Moore and Henry Kuttner; Clifford Ball). A good anthology in its own right, and a small treasury of bibliographic informaton.
