If you've wondered what are the main ingredients of cosmetics, why some hair colorings (Grecian Hair Formula) work gradually, how to cope with oily or dry skin, acne, eczema--you'll find out, with enough dermatological information to make it clear. There's a lot of debunking, too. All that stuff about protein being good for your hair--hair can't eat! Nor is it true that the more you shave the faster your beard grows. Name brands are not rated, but the ingredients to look for in, say, insect repellents or acne products are given.
