KIRKUS REVIEW

Three semingly natural deaths in succession are too much for newspaper-owner-to-be Allen and he whips into their investigation in whirlwind fashion, and even gets a fiancee out of his activities. Motivation of murders unsound -- but methods, sleuthing, dialog and people are entertaining. Not top ranking but good reading.
