KIRKUS REVIEW

Lt. Ferris, of NYC Homicide, investigating the murder of a night club singer, makes use of the suspects to further his plans for killing Fern, his wife whom he no longer trusts. Framing his wanted male operatives and making use of biological stratagems with the females, he runs the two assignments along parallel lines, and in trying to save Fern when he learns his doubts have been unfounded, kills her instead of his accomplice. For the brutal-violent audience.
