KIRKUS REVIEW

Mimi is sad because she cannot be an important and distinguished member of the rench police, like her Uncle Aristide and her Uncle Alphonse. But through a madcap adventure she discovers that being a little girl in important too. Lisa Weil's 3-color illustrations are bright, breezy and delightfully French, from beret-topped tots to ustachioed gendarmes.
