Dr. Daniel T. Niles, the author, is an Asian Christian, and his fresh insight into the Gospels helps the reader to relive the story of Jesus. He uses as far as possible the language and style of everyday speech, but since Jesus himself is unlike any other man who ever lived, some of the language of faith has had to be retained. The reader of the Gospel record, says Dr. Niles, must bring himself to live with that record until Jesus meets him there and challenges him to believe. A most useful study guide.
