Three times as long and twice as complicated as Pauline Innis' Astronumerology (p. 480) -- i.e. offering many more options to be any number of things -- Mr. Cope's book is an Aries to Pisces manual, with numerology only ""the shorthand of the cosmic plan"" or the base for that other discipline. He's much less chatty than Miss Innis and rarely do his Olympian referrals come down from Goethe and Tolstoi to earth -- Billy Graham. As Mr. Cope says, ""astrology is a little like Hertz; it puts us in the 'driver's seat' of life"" and this is for those who want to indulge in a do-it-yourself-trip providing they have the time to get something precise out of the confusion of many of such statements as ""Illumination is your challenge, but it's difficult to find through effort and application, your long suit; it's your nature to evaluate intangibles with a fat zero.
