JOURNEY INTO CHILDHOOD by Lois Lenski

JOURNEY INTO CHILDHOOD

By

Pub Date: March 15th, 1972
Publisher: Lippincott

Conventional recollections in deadly conventional prose of the author's turn-of-the-century childhood in an Ohio parsonage, her poor-but-hopeful apprentice years in New York, her marriage to a fellow artist whom she refers to throughout as ""Mr. Covey,"" and the subsequent juggling of her Personal and Professional lives. There are no retrospective insights to redeem the nostalgia or any animating incidents to relieve the monotony.
