THE YELLOW CUP MYSTERY

Author of Secret of The Red Gourd (1961, p. 164, J-92) has concocted another mystery which is stuffed with incredible situations and too many coincidences. Two students set out to find the Valley of Gold, a hidden territory about which many legends have been spun. In the drawn out search, characters are shrouded in mystery, and in typical Hardy boy fashion, the lads fight the good fight-- find the valley and rejoice. Not much suspense here, reader interest falls quickly to a low ebb.
