While the title is quite a mouthful, it does indicate the liberality of intention and application of the book which is both functional and flexible. There are menus first and individual recipes (500) second. The Katzenbachs believe that meals can be attractive while not requiring too much time or money and most of the dishes which are basic or classic to begin with appear here with an original additive. There is a good deal of helpful commentary throughout which will be most useful to the inexperienced on her way to converting cooking into cuisine.
