A Mexican parrot, Panchito, rules the ranch, becomes famous and finds himself virtually incarcerated by a life of civilized ease. So he escapes and heads for the hills, seeking the ranch whence he came, and where he felt himself treated on equal footing with the men. Raucous and colorful times ensue as Panchito helps a vaquero tame a bull, an old man overcome his fear of a tiger, and aids in abolishing a gang of bandits.
