It is really impossible to report this adequately without seeing the ""six collapsed cardboard blocks"", that serve as a ""piano"" and provide a key to the numbers and code of the text. The purpose of the book is to enable the aspiring student to learn fundamentals of reading music even before a piano is available; there are of text which deal with hand position, with intervals (thirds, fifths, sevenths, etc. broken intervals, fingering, names of keys, treble and base, and so on.
