KIRKUS REVIEW

This book is so packed with information that it is better to sample individual chapters since each one can be read separately. In addition to a discussion of the traditional five senses and the kinesthetic sense, the Milnes explore the sense of time, of balance, of direction, of feel via electric current. The authors also raise the possibility of inter species communication in their discussion of animal language. An interesting and unusual approach to nature study.
