A NATION OF NATIONS

Fourth in a series which makes for better understanding of the melting pet of America -- this is another of those books which, judiciously used by teachers -- by parents -- could help create in young people more understanding of the contributions peoples of the world have made through those who have come to America. This particular volume covers outstanding figures in our history -- from the days of the Revolution to the present war -- the industries they have established or to which they have contributed -- the social and economic factors which have made part of America or kept the from being a part -- and the nationalities covered are Italy, Spain, Mexico, France, Holland, Sweden, Russia, Germany, Yugoslavia, Norway, Greece, Poland, Ireland -- and the American Negro. A book that should do a great deal towards the base of tolerance.
